Welcome to the Inaugural Hippy Hill Dead Fest - a JGB Tribute & Birthday Celebration featuring the music, the life, and the culture of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead era.

Jerome John "Jerry" Garcia was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known for his work as the lead guitarist and as a vocalist with “Grateful Dead”. Throughout his 30 year career, Jerry performed with numerous musicians. In March of 1973, Jerry Garcia, John Kahn, David Grisman, Peter Rowan, and Richard Greene perform for the first time as Old & in the Way at the Record Plant in Sausalito, CA. Vassar Clements would later replace Greene on fiddle.
